Victor DeGiliage;aged 74 years;died at his home in Belle Vernon on Friday;April 27;1917. He is survived by his widow;one son and one daughter. The son is Leroy DeGiliage and the daughter is Mrs.Julia Buramorck. Mr.DeGiliage was born in Belgium. He came to this country 47 years ago and has since lived here. Thirty-five of the 47 years were spent in Belle Vernon. His funeral will be held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon;with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Rosetta (Rose) L. Sechrist Mellinger Clark; 42; of Charleroi; died Sunday; Sept. 22; 2002; in Montefiore University Hospital; Pittsburgh. Rose was born Jan. 5; 1960; in Connellsville; a daughter of late Melvin D. Sechrist Sr. and Etta May Sechrist; who survives and resides in Dawson. Rose spent most of her life in the Perryopolis area; where she was a homemaker. Survivors; in addition to her mother; include her maternal grandmother; Mary E. James Edward McClain Sr.; 73; formerly of Belle Vernon; died Monday; Sept. 16; 2002; in San Jose; Calif. Born Feb. 22; 1929; in North Belle Vernon; he was a son of the late John J. and Bertha Clement McClain. He had been a resident of San Jose since 1971 and was Baptist by faith. Mr. McClain was retired from National Semi Conductor; where he worked as an electronic engineer. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict; having served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. McClain is survived by his wife; Lavina Hewitt McClain; to whom he was married 56 years; four sons and three daughters-in-law; James E. McClain Jr. of Belle Vernon; and William and Lexie McClain; Charles and Carrie McClain; and Stephen and Beth McClain; all of San Jose; one daughter and son-in-law; Joyce and Don Neill of Willow Grove; two brothers and sisters-in-law; George and Vivian McClain of Belle Vernon; and Herbert and Kaye McClain of Charleroi; two sisters and one brother-in-law; Betty Brewer of Belle Vernon; and Patricia and Jack Narey of Monongahela; five grandchildren; Brenda; Becky; Tara; Forrest and Logan; two great-grandchildren; Ian and Cory; and was uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brewer also attended Calvary Bible Church in North Charleroi. She was a member of the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly.
