Angelo S. Fazio; 87; of Belle Vernon; Rostraver Township; died Wednesday; June 25; 2003; at 1:15 p.m. at his residence. Born May 6; 1916; in Belle Vernon; he was the son of the late Peter and Philomena Faga Fazio. He was a lifelong resident of Rostraver Township and a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. Mr. Fazio retired in 1977 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen Plant; where he worked as a general foreman in the construction department. He is survived by his wife; Ann Holet Fazio; to whom he was married 65 years; two sons and daughters-in-law; Barry and Janis Fazio of Rostraver Township and Dennis and Joan Fazio of Whitehall; and four granddaughters; Jaime Rogers and husband Timothy; and Janine; Rachel and Sarah Fazio. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one brother and several sisters. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). A prayer service will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Kenneth Zaccagnini; administrator; as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Angelo Fazio on Friday at 3 p.m.

Eugene P. Jack Gilmore; 86; of North Belle Vernon; died Monday; June 23; 2003; at 9 a.m. in Mon Valley Care Center; Carroll Township. Born July 23; 1916; in Uniontown; he was the son of the late Cora Gilmore. He was a lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon; a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen Plant; where he worked as a steam plant operator. Mr. Gilmore was a veteran of World War II; having served in the U.S. Navy as a Fireman First Class; a life member and past president of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department; a past member of the North Belle Vernon Borough Council; and a member and past Grand Knight of Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026. He also enjoyed writing poetry and had many poems published. He is survived by his wife; Helen Luzanski Gilmore; to whom he was married 65 years; one daughter; Anne Marie Gilmore of North Belle Vernon; one son; John Gilmore of Rostraver Township; and one granddaughter; Allyson Marie Gilmore of Rostraver Township.
