Frank Speers is really Franklin Marchand Speer not Speers. He was born March 22; 1866 and died 1 year; 1 day later on March 23; 1867. He has a soft white tall obelisk monument. His father was Louis Marchand Speer the founder of North Belle Vernon who is buried at Rehobeth Cemetery. Louis’s 2nd wife Frances Stewart was his mom. She is buried in Coleraine Forge PA. Franklin was the 3rd of 4 sons of Frances. Louis had 8 other children by his 1st wife Jane Thomas Finley. In early BV the Speers spell their last name Speers; Spears and Speer.
