A baker for the former Famous Bakery in Monessen; Mr. Galaski was retired from USX Irvin Works. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; serving aboard the USS New Jersey in the South Pacific. Clifford Litterini; 79; of Monessen; died Saturday; Feb. 4; 2006; in the emergency room at Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. He was born in Smithton on Sept. 5; 1926; a son of the late Rudolph and Margaret Backus Litterini. He was a resident of Monessen for over 50 years and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. Mr. Litterini also was a member of the Italian Society of Mutual Aid in Monessen; and past member and treasurer of the Marconi Social Club in Smithton. He worked over 50 years as a delivery route driver for Angelo’s Cigarette Service in Smithton; retiring in 1995. Mr. Litterini was a veteran of World War II; having served with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS H.W. Tucker. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law; James C. and Lynne Litterini; of River Edge; N.J.; his daughter and son-in-law; Laurie and Todd Chester; of Monessen; with whom he made his home; a brother and sister-in-law; Lawrence and Eunice Litterini; of Virginia Beach; Va.; three sisters and two brothers-in-law; Doris and John Wichtoski of Lansing; Mich.; Norma Penfield; and Carol and Maynard Munson; all of Tucson; Ariz.; two grandchildren; Zachary Chester and Cameron Litterini; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald Keys Jr.; 39; of Washington; Pa.; died unexpectedly on Wednesday; Feb. 1; 2006; in West Penn Hospital; Pittsburgh. The son of Wilma J. Keys and the late Ronald Keys Sr.; he was raised in Monessen and graduated from Monessen High School in 1984. He was a 1991 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of arts degree in speech and communications; and he was a graduate of Columbia School of Broadcasting. Ronald was employed by radio station WJPA in Washington and self employed as a freelance disc jockey. He was a member of the Living Stone Community Church in Washington and a member of the trustee board. He was an employee of Local 354 of the Plumbers and Pipefitters of Youngwood and had served on the Credit Union Board of the union for 15 years. Surviving are his wife of 47 years; Paula Gaydos Dutchko; three daughters and sons-in-law; Dawn and John Thomas; of Flatwoods; Beth and Keith Peer; of Belle Vernon (Fairhope); and Cindy and Mike Connors; of Oil City; and six grandchildren; Drew Molinari; Charles Stephenson; Shayna and Christian Connors; and Cameron and Samantha Peer.
