Charles W. Lovell Jr.; 72; of Finleyville; passed away Sunday; February 3; 2008. He was a lifelong member of Jefferson United Presbyterian Church and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was the beloved husband of the late Myra Lou Curry Lovell; father of Bill Lovell; Lou Ann (Richard) Scalise; David G. (Judy) Lovell and Thomas (Andrea) Lovell; grandfather of Richard; Ryan; Emily; Curry and Leah; and brother of Helen Jenkins. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Saturday; February 9; at 10 a.m. in Jefferson United Presbyterian Church. John E. Ramsey; 79; of Perryopolis (Jefferson Township); entered into eternal rest with his loving family at his side on Wednesday; February 6; 2008; in Allegheny General Hospital; Pittsburgh; Pa. He was born August 20; 1928; in Fayette City; a son of the late Abe and the late Ruth Coughenour. He was a member of Braznell C&MA Church. Mr. Ramsey worked at Corning Glass from 1944 to 1946 and served with the U.S. Air Force in Japan from 1946 to 1949. He was a carpenter for many years and retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant in 1993. Surviving are three daughters; Cindy Kostelac and husband; Ken; of Belle Vernon; Laurene Ramsier and husband; Bruce; of Perryopolis; and Luanne Ramsey; of Belle Vernon; one son; John A Ramsey and wife; Donna; of Stevensville; Md.; nine grandchildren; Tracy Everett; Kelly Seaton; Chad Everett; Melissa Fidel and husband; Charles; Emily Kostelac and fiance ; Matt Johnston; John-Paul Kostelac; Jordan Ramsier; Alanna Ramsier; and Todd Kostelac and wife; Shelley; nine great-grandchildren; Morgan Fidel; Damian Fidel; Dragen Kostelac; Tyler Everett; Trent Everett; Trisha Everett; Gavin Seaton; Owen Seaton and Cody Seaton; one sister; Sally Pisarchick; of Ohio; and one aunt; Grace Sindlinger; of New Castle. He was preceded in death by his wife; Leah A. Livingstone Ramsey; and one brother; Melvin Ramsey.
