Surrounded by her loving family; Mary Lazzari; 93; of Belle Vernon; passed away peacefully on Sunday; Nov. 3; 2013; in Monongahela Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Luke and Mary Salko Yakim; she was born Dec. 1; 1919; in Fayette City. She attended Fayette City High School and completed The Pennsylvania State College engineering; science; and management training program. Mary was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and enjoyed playing cards with her card club lady friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years; Delmas Fritz Lazzari; four sisters; infant Mary Yakim; Anna Puskas; Helen Portman; and Sophia Yakim; three brothers; Luke; Charles and John Yakim; and one nephew; Richard Portman. Left to cherish the wonderful memories of Mary are her loving daughters; Lynn Baron and husband; John; of Belle Vernon; and Joyce Stanish and husband; Frank; of Belle Vernon; with whom she resided; her beloved granddaughters; Kelly Baron Cho; and husband; Roy; of Philadelphia; and Corey Baron DeLuca; and husband; Mike; of Pittsburgh; sister-in-law; Lorraine Povich of Monessen; brother-in-law; Lloyd Lazzari and wife Betty; of Belle Vernon; and many nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belle Vernon; F&AM No. 643 of Belle Vernon; the Charleroi Chapter of the AARP; Shrine of Pittsburgh and the McKean Commandery. Prior to his retirement; he had been employed as an operating engineer for Local 66 of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Jennie Quintier Flora; on August 24; 2006; brothers and sisters; Anna Pollizzano; Ross Flora; Pete Flora; Mary Mascara; Angelina Brazack; Joseph Flora; John Flora and Josephine Neil.
