Catherine ‘Nunnie’ Vaccaro; 97; of Monessen; passed away Sunday; December 25; 2011. A daughter of the late Fidel and Teresa Domiano Ambrose; she was born in Carbondale on December 6; 1914. Formerly of N. Belle Vernon; she had resided in Monessen since 1958 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon. Survivors include two daughters and three sons-in-law; Joann and Richard Fields of Belle Vernon; Cathi and Marshall Carpenter; with whom she made her home in Monessen; and Arnold Nelson; of The Villages; FL; one son and daughter-in-law; Charles G. and My-Hoa Vaccaro of Greenfield Park; Australia; ten grandchildren; Jodie and Jim Winget of Greer; SC; Mike and Libby Fields of Belle Vernon; David and Vonda Fields of Orlando; FL; Barbara and Tim Mayer of Metamora; Il; Patti and Mike Seacrist of Lake St. Louis; MO; David Nelson of Peoria; IL; Linh Vaccaro and Vinh Vaccaro; both of Australia; Kevin Carpenter of New York City and Kerri Carpenter of Arlington; VA and eleven great-grandchildren; Jasen and Jarret Winget; Autumn and Austin Fields; Garret; Connor and Morgan Fields; Kyle and Kelly Mayer and Mathew and Patrick Seacrist. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Gasper Vaccaro on October 16; 1973; one daughter; Adele Nelson on January 13; 2004; one grandson; Richard ‘Dickie’ Fields; on December 27; 1962; two sisters; Josephine Mendicino and Rose Wiegle and four brothers; Charles; Vincenzo; Joseph and Fred Ambrose. Vincent Keill; 84; of Belle Vernon; Washington Township; died Thursday; April 22; 2010; at 2:25 p.m.; at his home. Born July 16; 1925; in Trotter; he was a son of the late John and Katherine Heltmark Keill. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 51 years; Mr. Keill was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; and was a retired owner/operator of the former Hilltop Bakery. After closing Hilltop Bakery; Vincent worked for Fayette County Assessment office for 18 years and later worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 20 years for the State Tax Equalization Board. Mr. Keill was also a life member of the Fairhope Rod & Gun Club; member of the Naomi Club and social member of the Belle Vernon and Smithton American Legions. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law; Diane and John Lindey; of Florida; Carolyn and Brian Seman; of Colorado; and Tracey and Dave Hackenson; of Belle Vernon; two sisters; Florence Laskey; of LaGrange; Ohio; and Dorothy Hart; of Nice; Calif.; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Herman Keill and John Keill Jr.; and a sister; Eleanor Andras.
