Dorothy Vrable; 76; of Belle Vernon; went to be with the Lord on Thursday; March 1; 2012 in Allegheny General Hospital. A daughter of the late William and Martha Randall Lloyd; she was born in Belle Vernon on January 29; 1936. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; she was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and the Mon Valley YMCA. Survivors include one daughter; Sherie Leigh Vrable and companion; Ian Clayton; at home; one son and daughter-in-law; Michael J. and Lorie Vrable; Belle Vernon; a special nephew; Chuckie Lloyd; Jr. and one niece; Kathy Forte. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years; Joseph G. ‘Gigi’ Vrable on November 18; 1995 and one brother; Chuckie Lloyd. Lenore Jones Patterson; 89; of Belle Vernon; Rostraver Township; died Monday; April 13; 2009; in her home. Born July 1; 1919; in Charleroi; she was the daughter of the late Bert and Ella (McCracken) Jones. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Warren O. Patterson; on June 13; 1995; four brothers; Norman; Leonard; Carl and Arthur Jones; five sisters; Garnet Butler; Pearl Coyle; Ethel Turner; Vivian Jones and Viola Zorek. Mrs. Patterson was the last surviving member of her family. Lenore was last employed as a teacher’s aide for 16 years in the Belle Vernon Area School District; having retired in June 1962. She was an active member of Pricedale Union Church; having served in several offices. She served as church clerk from January 1985 until her retirement in December 2006. She is survived by her son and grandson; Mark A. Patterson and Mark A. Patterson Jr.; with whom she made her home. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the JAMES C.
