Born May 14; 1924; in Belle Vernon; she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ella Beazell Cain. Mrs. Diethorn was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon and was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. May worked as a secretary for U.S. Steel; Irvin Works; during World War II and later worked for the Belle Vernon Water Authority as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law; Susan and Richard Bronder; of Woodstock; N.Y.; Nancy and Bruce Raymond; of La Grange; N.Y.; and Marylou and Ronald Todd; of Jeannette; sister; Jane Shider; of Belle Vernon; six grandchildren; Shelley Savatgy and husband; Matt; Craig Bronder; Melanie Todd; Erin Mulkeran and husband; Kevin; Amanda Kalantirsky and husband; Phil; and Becky Raymond; and two great-grandchildren; Lily Savatgy and Quinn Savatgy. She is preceded in death by her husband; Lionel Joe Diethorn; June 8; 2002; a twin sister; June Leeper; and a brother; Ralph Cain. Joseph Sidary; 86; of North Belle Vernon; died Wednesday; Nov. 20; 2013; at 12:25 a.m. at Kade Health and Rehab Center; Washington. Born Dec. 22; 1926; in North Belle Vernon; he was the son of the late Anthony and Katheryne Spadafora Sidary. A resident of North Belle Vernon; Mr. Sidary was Catholic by faith and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen Plant; where he worked as a steam plant operator. He was a veteran of World War II; where he served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by a nephew; Jim Sidary of North Belle Vernon; and two nieces; Laurie Marraccini of McKeesport and Kathleen Couvillion of Texas. He was preceded in death by a brother; James Sidary; stepbrother; Salvatore Perry; and a son; John Sidary Fries.
