Fosco Ferrari; 88; of Belle Vernon; went to be with the Lord on Friday; April 25; 2014; in his home. A son of the late Ferrante and Maria Sichi Ferrari; he was born in Cutigliano; Italy (Tuscany) on July 4; 1925. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. A resident of Belle Vernon most of his adult life; Fosco retired in 1987 from the Clairton Plant of U.S. Steel and served in Italy; with the U.S. Army; 2677th unit; OSS Regiment; special forces; during World War II. Survivors include his wife; Frances Moore Ferrari; one daughter and son-in-law; Marlyn and Robert Thompson of Belle Vernon; one son and daughter-in-law; Mark and Verna Ferrari of Mohnton; Pa.; one sister; Deanna Sergi of Belle Vernon; and four grandchildren; Brandon Ferrari of North Versailles; Joshua Ferrari and his wife; Amanda; of Adamstown; Pa.; and Bethany and Kelsie Ferrari; both of Mohnton. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a son; Marty Ferrari on Aug. 5; 2007; and a sister; Fosca Frederick. Inez Pauwels Traynor; 103; of Forward Township; passed away Sunday; March 13; 2011; in her home. A daughter of the late Harry and Mary Carper Tuttle; she was born in Belle Vernon on March 2; 1908. Inez had been a resident of Forward Township for the past 41 years. Survivors include one daughter; Janet Grossi; with whom she made her home; one son and daughter-in-law; John and Sara Pauwels; of Phoenix; Ariz.; three grandchildren and their spouses; Joseph and Judy Grossi; of Forward Township; John and Staci Grossi; of New Eagle; and Susan and Thomas Brewer; of Bensalem; Pa.; 10 great-grandchildren; Jennifer Plesniak; Jessica; Dominick; Camryn; Alyssa; Alexander and Kaylen Grossi; and Katherine; Victoria and Thomas Brewer; and four great-great-grandchildren; Jordan and Brendan Plesniak; Anthony Crouch and Serenidy Grossi.
