Inez L. Lehew; 91; formerly of Belle Vernon; passed away with her loving family at her side; in Sentara Virginia Beach Hospital on Nov. 9; 2012. Her memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of all the many friends and family whose lives she touched. Her whole life was devoted to family; caring and giving. She was born in Belle Vernon on November 22; 1920; the daughter of the late Salvatore and Nunziata Dolfi Lazzari. Inez was the former owner of the Sports Lounge and Laurie’s Terrace Room in Charleroi as well as Don’s Dairy Bar in Belle Vernon. She was a member and past president of the Annita Garibaldi Society; past president of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a current member of the Wycliffe Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach; VA. She has lived in Virginia Beach for the past four years with her daughter and son-in-law. Inez is preceded in death by her husband; Donald M. Lehew; a grandson Brett D. Schumm and a brother Elmo Lazzari (3additional brothers and a sister passed away in childhood). She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Donice C. and Jay F. Schumm; of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren; Jay D. Schumm and Laurie D. Coyne and her husband Mike; three great-grandchildren; Jenni M. Williams; Taylor D. Schumm and C. Bryce Coyne; two nieces; Nancy Kasinski and Laurie Rees and one nephew Mark Lehew. Leaving behind also is the family dog; Cricket; whom she dearly loved. Edith Ida Alexander; 95; formerly of Monessen; died Wednesday; Jan. 28; 2009; in Golden Living Center; Waynesburg. She was born in Monessen on Sept. 16; 1913; the daughter of the late Domenick and Mary (Arabia) Coccari. She grew up in Monessen and was a member of the former St. Cajetan Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by two brothers; James Coccari; of Sun City; Calif.; and Robert Coccari; of Monessen; and numerous nieces and nephews; including David Coccari; who cared for Edith for 10 years. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Thomas Alexander; four brothers; Joseph; Louis; Edward and Ernest P. Coccari; and one sister; Lena Venneri. Jesse J. Myers; 82; of North Belle Vernon; died Saturday; Jan. 24; 2009; at 4:05 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born Sept. 11; 1926; in Belle Vernon; he was the son of the late William and Kathryn C. (Carter) Myers. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon; Mr. Myers was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belle Vernon. He was a retired turn foreman from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport plant. Mr. Myers was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; having proudly served aboard the USS Providence. He also served as an assistant scout leader for Boy Scout Troop 541. He is survived by his wife; Sadye (Neil) Myers; to whom he was married 63 years; one daughter and son-in-law; Sharon and Edward Stefanick; of Fayette City; one son and daughter-in-law; John and Sherry Myers; of Finksburg; Md.; two grandchildren; Kristin Blair and husband Todd; and Ian Daniel Myers and wife Jennifer; and three great-grandchildren; Alyssa Blair; Brooke Myers and Riley Myers. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Herbert; George and William Myers; and one sister; Laura Virginia Myers. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J.
