Lugene Green Radcliff; 75; of Belle Vernon; formerly of Daisytown; went home to be with her Lord; Saturday; Aug. 1; 2009; at Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born June 9; 1934; to the late Herbert Green Sr. and Christine Lee Green in Crescents Heights; Daisytown. A resident of this area all her life; she moved to Belle Vernon after her marriage to her beloved husband; Daniel Radcliff. A member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church; Daisytown; and a diligent worker; she was the church secretary; Sunday School teacher; choir member; and the Vacation Bible school coordinator for many years. She belonged to the YWBA and was treasurer of Congress of Christian Education; and third vice president of the Women’s Home and Foreign missions of the YWBA. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband; Daniel Radcliff; six sisters; Elsie Hoggans; Arlene Miller and twin; Florene Green; Dorothy and husband John Tyler all of Daisytown; Fannie Hawkes of Pittsburgh; and Helen Lucas; of Detroit; Mich.; and one brother; Nathaniel and wife Kay Green; of Detroit; Mich.; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and friends. Preceding her in death also were two sisters; Mary Settles and Ruth Wilkinson; and a brother; Herbert Green Jr. Visitation will be Friday; Aug. 7; from 4 to 8 p.m. at the WILLIAM R. TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME; 645 McMahon Avenue; Monessen; and Saturday; Aug. 8; at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church; Crescent Heights; Daisytown; from 10 to 11 a.m. at which time the funeral services will begin. Interment will be at the LaFayette Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Ronald Michaux; pastor of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church; Daisytown. Services were entrusted to the WILLIAM R.
