TIMOTHY O. MYERS
Timothy O. Myers; 64; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township); died Sunday; Oct. 18; 2009; at 12:59 p.m. at Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born Aug. 19; 1945; in North Charleroi; he was the son of the late Herbert Carter Myers and Ann L. Ohara Myers Barch. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 30 years; Mr. Myers attended St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with his wife; and was a retired superintendent of maintenance from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant. A U.S. Army veteran; he was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659; Belle Vernon Rotary Club; worked at Cedar Brook Golf Course for the past two years and was a dear friend and attendant at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home for the past three years. Tim was an avid golfer; member of the WISE golf league and was a well known musician and drummer for several bands in the 1960’s and 1970’s; playing with the Invictas; and featured with Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners; the Eldorados and The Filet of Soul. Tim also played legion ball and minor league baseball and coached boys baseball and girls softball. He is survived by his wife of 31 years; Kathy Misenko Myers; daughter Megan Myers of Rostraver Township; who is currently attending school in Philadelphia; his father and mother-in-law; Edward and Betty E. (Albright) Misenko of Belle Vernon; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law; Carol and Pete Mazzei of Belle Vernon and Janet Misenko; three nephews; Chad and Aaron Mazzei of Glenwood Springs; Colo.; Kurt and Carissa Kornosky of Webb City; Mo.; niece; Kerry and Frank Funair of Penn Hills; a great-niece; Kaylee Kornosky; and a great- nephew; Evan Kornosky. He was preceded in death by his sister; Judith Kornosky; and brother-in-law; Eugene Kornosky. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724) 929-6183. Prayer service will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home; followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas; pastor; as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Timothy Myers on Tuesday at 3 p.m. The Belle Vernon American Legion will conduct services Tuesday at 7 p.m.; followed by the Belle Vernon Rotary Club services at 7:30 p.m.; both in the funeral home. RICHARD LEE ( DICK ) SABATINI
Richard Lee Sabatini; 74; of Fallowfield Twp.; passed away Tuesday; October 13; 2009. Born May 7; 1935; a son of the late Oscar and Edith Morris Sabatini; preceded in death by his wife Donna Sabatini; survived by his children: Rick (Cathy) Sabatini of Humble; TX; Ron (Stephanie) Sabatini of Murrieta; GA; Terri Sabatini (Pete Cupari) of Fallowfield Twp.; Dan (Melissa) Sabatini of Belle Vernon; his grandchildren: Nicole Sabatini of Fullerton; CA; Angela (Morgan) Knight of Kingwood; TX; Ricky Sabatini of Humble; TX; great-grandson; Preston Knight of Kingwood; TX and an aunt; Anna Mary (Louis) Marra of Belle Vernon. Better known as ‘Dick’ by those that loved him; he was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran of the Korean War; a retired Teamster of 20 years; a life member of the Fallowfield Twp. Fire Department; the Charleroi American Legion Post 22; the Otters Club and served as the financial secretary of the Charleroi Sportsman Club. Anyone who knew Dick would attest to his avid love of tractors and his garage is a testament to that collection. Dick continued to support the St. Judes Children’s Hospital every month. In honor of Dick; in lieu of flowers; donations may be made to St. Judes. Dick will be greatly missed by all. Larry L. Oliphant; 68; died Tuesday; Oct. 6; 2009. He was born Aug. 11; 1941; a son of the late Charles and Ellen Oliphant. He is the father of Rosemarie and Cheryl (husband Kenneth) Iselin of Ohio; grandfather of Kelsey; brother of Lorraine Vercoe of Roscoe; and Charles (Retta) Oliphant of Florida; and has numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held at Faulhaber Funeral Home in Broadview Heights; Ohio; on Thursday; Oct. 8; 2009. Chapel services will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery on Monday; Oct.12; 2009; at 3 p.m.

JOSEPH ANTHONY ( MOOCH ) MUCCINO
Joseph A. Mooch Muccino; 83; of Belle Vernon; Rostraver Township; died Saturday; April 26; 2014; at 11:35 a.m.; at Donnell House; Washington. Born Nov. 5; 1930; in Monessen; he was a son of the late Rocco and Nunziata Galuppo Muccino. A lifelong resident of Rostraver Township; Mr. Muccino was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; was a retired pipe shop maintenance foreman from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport plant; and was also a retired maintenance supervisor for the Belle Vernon Area School District. He was a Korean War veteran; having served in the Army; was a member of the Fayette City-Washington Township Lions Club and Monessen Knights of Columbus Council 954. He enjoyed going to the YMCA and to McDonald’s for the morning coffee club. He is survived by his wife; Irene Karlock Muccino; to whom he would have celebrated 56 years of marriage in June; two daughters and sons-in-law; Valerie and Charles Ruslavage; of Canonsburg; and Erica and Jim Jarvis; of Wexford; and a brother; Anthony Muccino; of Rostraver Township. He was a doting and loving papap to Kayla Ruslavage; Rachel Ruslavage; Gabriella Jarvis and Rocco Jarvis. He was preceded in death by his son; Joseph R. Muccino; in 2009; and a brother; Mario Muccino.
