John R. (Jake) Lenio;Jr.;83;of 910 Margarite Ave.;Monessen;died Monday;Oct.21;1996;at his home. Born Nov.15;1912;in Monessen;he was a son of the late John R.and Appolonia Shuba Lenio Sr. Mr.Lenio had been employed at the Page Division of ACCO as a foreman in the cold roll department before retiring. He was well known throughout the Mon Valley as an avid parakeet breeder. He was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen and had been a member of the
Monessen Volunteer Fire Department
and Relief Association
No. 1 for 53 years.
Mr. Lenio was also a past
president of Old Timers Association
of Western Pennsylvania
Fireman’s Association and a
member of the Webster Beagle
Club.

was preceded in death by his
wife; Mary F. Lenio in April of

She was a member of the
First Presbyterian Church;
Belle Vernon. She had resided
in the Belle Vernon community
for the past 63 years. She was
the last surviving member of
the R.J. Linton Bible Class at
the church.
Survivors include one
daughter; Laverne Lehew; at
home.
