Achille J.Bertin;57;of 545 Center avenue;North Charleroi;died at his home;Wednesday;September 5;1956;at 10:40 a.m. Mr.Bertin was a member of the Slovak Citizens Club of North Charleroi;and had been employed as a nail mill operator at the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel company. He is survived by his wife;Louisa Bertin;two daughters;Mrs.Frank (Elsie) Chew;North Charleroi;and Mrs.Anthony (Yvette) Mosco of Monessen;two brothers and five sisters in France;and six grandchildren. Friends will be recieved at the late home. Brief services there Saturday;September 8;at 9 a.m.;will be followed by Requiem High Mass at 9:30 a.m.in St.Cajetan Church. Rev.Nunzio Pirelli will be in charge and interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer is the funeral director.
