Mr.Colvin was born in Fayette City;Sept.7;1881;and had lived in the Belle Vernon area the past 53 years. He was retired in 1953 from the railroad department of the Allenport Plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his widow;Bertha McEwen Colvin;a son;Walter R.Jr.of Belle Vernon R.D.4;a daughter;Mrs.Richard (Viola) Weightman of Belle Vernon R.D.4;four grandchildren;five great-grandchildren;two sisters;Mrs.Mary Jane Russell;Monongahela and Mrs.Alfred (Sue) Phillips;Homer City.
