Surviving are her husband;Austin M.;two sons;Oscar and Donald;both of Anaheim;Calif.;three daughters;Mrs.Mildred Franceschi of Anaheim;Mrs.Jennie Trich of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Dolores Joseph of Pataskala;Ohio;one brother;Clyde Craig of Brownsville;two sisters;Mrs.Mabel Wenick and Mrs. Dorothy Lear;both of Brownsville;eight grandchildren;and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m. Monday. Services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday;April 29;at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Clarence Callaway Jr.;45;of 520 Monongahela Ave.;North Charleroi;died at 7:55 p.m. Wednesday;April 21;1971 at Shadyside Hospital;Pittsburgh;following surgery. Born July 10;1926;in Monessen;he was the son of Clarence Callaway Sr.;who preceded him in death in February;1961;and Sarah Ann Wheatly Callaway;who died in December;1966. He had been employed as a burner at the Gibsonton Yards of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.Callaway was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Monessen and the Lock 4 Fire Dept.of North Charleroi. A veteran of World War II;he served with the U.S.Army in the European theatre of Operations. Surviving are his wife;Charlotte Yvonne Miller Callaway;a daughter;Mrs.Jerry (Joyce) Miller of New Paris;Pa.;a foster-daughter;Cindy Mae Ewing;at home;two sons;Clifford and Terry Wayne;also at home;two grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers;William and Joseph;and a sister;Mrs.Clarence (Marian) Kerr;all of Belle Vernon. Services were held at the Grace Methodist Church;Monessen at 11 a.m. Saturday;April 24;1971. Officiating was the Rev.Joseph C.Rial. Interment was in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rhome funeral directors.
