Mrs. Sally Kate Jones; 89; of 4 Mulberry St.; Belle Vernon; died yesterday at 10:45 a.m. at her home after a short illness.
Born in Pike Run; West Brownsville; on Oct. 8; 1878; she had been in Belle Vernon 51 years.
Her husband; Joseph; died in 1960.
Surviving are a daughter; Mrs. Jennie BARBOUR at home; two sons; George of Gary; Ind.; and Harry of Belle Vernon; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the late home after 4 p.m. today.

He was retired from the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a World War I veteran. He is survived by one brother James (Goldie) Jones of Monessen and one sister;Maude Grisson of Monessen. Born on July 8;1901;in Mathews;Ala.;she came to Pennsylvania in 1925 and had lived in Belle Vernon 38 years. Mrs.Maddox was a member of Mt.Hebron Baptist Church at Lendale Terrace;near Grindstone;and Star of Bethlehem Chapter 34 of the Eastern Star;Monessen. Surviving are her husband;Jess;two brothers;Arthur Jackson of Belle Vernon and the Rev.O.J.Jackson of Cleveland;Ohio. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church of Belle Vernon.
