Born in Europe on May 11;1880;he was a retired coal miner;and a member of the United Mine Workers of America Local 7810. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where brief services will be held Thursday;April 24;at 9 a.m. with additional rites to follow at 9:30 from the St.Edward R.C.Church;Fayette City.
