Mrs.Lear; who was born in
McKeesport on July 25; 1899;
was a daughter of the late Levi
and Laura Hicks.
A former Monessen resident;
she was a member of the First
Presbyterian Church of Belle
Vernon and was a member and
former president of Belle Vernon
Woman’s Club.
Her husband; Clyde Edward
Lear; died in June; 1964.
Surviving are several nieces
and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon after 7 p.m.on Oct.9. Service there Friday;Oct.11;at 1:30 p.m.with Dr.S.Arthur Talman;pastor of Belle Vernon’s First Presbyterian Church;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director.

From October until his death Mr.Lancaster was employed by Fabian Hardware in Charleroi. A resident of Gibsonton since 1945;he was born in Jacobs Creek on Jan.4;1904. He was a member of Monessen’s First Baptist Church. Mr.Logan was a retired coal miner. Surviving are his widow;Mattie;three sons;James of New York City;Ernest of Detroit;Mich.;Dallas at home;three daughters;Mrs.Haywood (Inez) Wilson of Pricedale;Beryl Logan of New York City and Shirley Logan at home;a brother;Ernest of Pricedale and eighteen grandchildren.
