Arthur Franklin Lunt of 477 Knox Ave.;Monessen;died suddenly Tuesday at 5:15 p.m.in Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was 34. He was born April 14;1943 in Pricedale;the son of Rhuel Lunt and the late Gertrude Smith Lunt. Mr.Lunt was employed as an auto mechanic at Mac’s Automotive Center;Charleroi. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Sunshine CB Club;and was known by the call name Hillbilly. He was preceded in death by his mother;Gertrude Smith Lunt;who died on April 16;1975. In addition to his father;Mr.Lunt is survived by his widow;Sharon;three sons;Brian;Ronald and Craig;all at home;five brothers;Jay Smith of Belle Vernon;Donald and John Dale Lunt of Coal Center;and Dennis Lunt of Donora and six sisters;Vivian Hoover of Denbo;Sara Burns and Darlene Smailey of Coal Center;Elaine Ambler of Belle Vernon;Ellen Smith of Webster and Suzanne Duda of Fayette City. Friends will be received in the Stephen D.Yoney Jr.Funeral Home;First and Schoonmaker;Monessen;Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Verna Sapko Lutes; 71; of 218 Chestnut St.; Stockdale;died Thursday;Dec.23;1976; at 12:10 p.m. in Presbyterian-University Hospital; Pittsburgh. She was born Oct. 14;1905 in Stockdale; a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Bersok Sapko. Mrs. Lutes was a former nurses’ aide at the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital and was a member of Holy Ghost Greek Catholic Church; Charleroi. Her husband; William J. Lutes Sr.; died in 1958. Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Harry (Betty) DiBiase of Vineland; N.J. and Mrs. Anthony (Anna Mae) Priglia of Clairton; two sons; William J. Lutes Jr. of Stockdale and Robert A. Lutes of Bentleyville; four brothers;Joseph; Nicholas and George Sapko; all of Stockdale; and Paul Sapko of Passaic;N.J.;six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
