A former resident of Monessen;Mr.Miller had been employed at the Pittsburgh Steel Co.;for many years and later as janitor at the Linden School. Five grandchildren and a great grandchild also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1949. Mrs.Jeanette Matheny;aged 66 years;89 Pennsylvania Blvd.;Park Plan;died Thursday;May 28;1953;at 5:30 p.m.in Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh. She had been a resident of Monessen for the past 44 years;and was a member of the First Christian Church here. She is survived by her husband;Harold Matheny;three children;Mrs.Sam Simon and Clarence Matheny;both of Monessen and Mrs.Mae Bailey;R.D.2;Belle Vernon;two grandchildren and a brother;Charles Burns of Baltimore;Md.Friends are being received at the Harper Memorial Chapel on McKee avenue.
