John O.Martin;75;of 733 Speer St.;Belle Vernon;did suddenly at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at 1:45 a.m.on Tuesday;Jan.9;1968. Mr.Martin was born in East Monongahela on July 29;1892. He was a life member of Free and Acdepted Masons Lodge 643;Belle Vernon;Syria Temple of Pittsburgh and Consistory of New Castle. He also belonged to Commandery No.80 of Charleroi;Royal Arch Chapter 290 of Monessen and First Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. He was a past president of Mon Valley Caravan No.17. Mr.Martin lived in Belle Vernon since 1907. He retired in 1961 from the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. Surviving are his widow;Mildred;two brothers;Charles H.of Belle Vernon and Charles A.of Charleroi;a sister;Mrs.Margaret Bamford of Donora;several nieces and nephews.
