Mrs.Anna Lahey McCahill of 315 First St.;Monessen;died in Monongahela Memorial Hospital Monday;June 30;1969;at 5:50 p.m. She was admitted to the hospital a week ago. Mrs.McCahill;before retirement had worked 35 years as a Bell Telephone operator. She was a member of St.Leonard R.C.Church;Monessen;and Bell Telephone Pioneers. Born in Pittsburgh;she was a daughter of the late Edward J.and Ellen Horan Lahey. Surviving are her husband;John:four sisters;Mrs.John (Mary) Tormay;Catherine and Nellie Lahey;all of Monessen;and Mrs.K.W.(Agnes) DeRousse of Bethel Park;a brother;Edward of Monessen;several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received after 7 p.m.July 1 at the Rhome Funeral Home;Monessen. Prayers there Thursday;July 3;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in St.Leonard R.C.Church;Monessen;at 10 a.m. The Rev.Regis Hickey;pastor;will officiate. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.
