John Moskal;74; of 409 Perry Ave.;Belle Vernon (Fairhope) died suddenly at 9:10 p.m.Tuesday;May 10;1977;at his home. He was born in Mt Carmel;Pa on June 17; 1902;son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Moskal. Mr. Moskal was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Fayette City and the
United Mine Workers of America. He was a retired coal miner.

Helen Louise Kozak Bulger;87;of Millville;N.J.;formerly of Belle Vernon (Lynnwood);passed away Tuesday;April 3;2001;at 4:30 a.m.in the Genesis Elder Care;Millville Center;N.J.;after a brief illness. She was born Feb.5;1914;in Mt.Pleasant;a daughter of the late Fred and Anna Koschalk Kozak. A graduate of Belle Vernon High School;she was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards and taking trips with the Golden Agers. She worked for Rach’s Department Store in Charleroi and was an active member of the Marion United Presbyterian Church of Fairhope;where she served as a deacon. She was also a big Steelers fan. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years;Alvin Q.Bulger on Feb.16;1990. She is survived by three daughters;Barbara Bulger and Jane Meandro;with whom she made her home;and Frances Nogy of Wichita;Kan.;one son;James Bulger of Houston;Texas;two brothers;William Kozak of Brigham City;Utah;and Sam Kozak of Broken Arrow;Okla.five grandchildren;and five great-grandchildren.
