He was a resident of Fayette City most of his life. He is survived by his wife Alice;whom he married 68 years ago;four sons;Reese of California;Pa.;William of Fayette City;R.D.1;Raymond of Belle Vernon;and James of Newell;five daughters;Mrs.Violet Fitzpatrick of Fisher Heights;Mrs.George Walters of Nemacolin;Mrs.Silas Snyder;Youngstown;Ohio;Mrs.William Wickerham and Mrs.William Michener of Wickerham’s Corners;one brother;Evan Owens of Wales;Great britain;thirty-eight grandchildren and forty-six great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Wednesday;April 18;1956;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.William Schatz. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
