A three-year-old Monessen boy;Carl Thomas Pesi;died Saturday Aug.17;1968;of injuries received when he fell from a roof behind his home at 451 Schoonmaker Ave. According to Monessen police;the youngster apparently scaled a small fence on the back porch and walked out onto the roof of Rem’s Electric warehouse located in the rear. He toppled from the roof 30 feet to the concrete pavement. The accident happened at about 7:15 p.m. The youngster was taken to Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;where he succumbed at 10:10 p.m. Death was attributed by Westmoreland County Coroner Stephen Yoney to a fractured skull and brain damage. The youngster is the son of Carl L.and Rita Hasch Pesi. He was born in North Charleroi on May 5;1965. Surviving;besides his parents;are a brother;George at home;paternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Carl L.Pesi of Fairhope;maternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.John Hasch of Donora;paternal great-grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Carlo Pesi of Belle Vernon.
