Benjamin F.Sayre;72;of 209 Louella Ave.;Charleroi;was dead on arrival at the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital Thursday morning;Jan.25.1973;at 10:25 a.m. He was rushed to the hospital after collapsing near 11th St.and Schoonmaker Ave.in Monessen. Born in West Virginia Sept.8;1900;he was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II and a member of Charleroi American Legion Post 22. He had lived in Monessen until last October when he moved to Charleroi. He retired from Westmoreland Equipment Co.in 1965.
