Mr.Teano;a resident of Belle Vernon most of his life;had resided at 237 Main St.;Belle Vernon. Born April 22;1911;in Shinnston;W.Va.;he was a son of the late John and Flora Accquinta Teano. Mr.Teano was a barber by trade and operated a shop at 235 Main St.;Belle Vernon;for many years. Mr.Teano was a member of St.Sebastian Church;Belle Vernon;and Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. He also belonged to Fayette County Firemen’s Association and the Western Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association. He was born in Pistoia;Italy;on Sept.27;1891;and resided in Belle Vernon the past 73 years. Mr.Tesi was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle vernon;the Garibaldi Lodge of Dunlevy and the Italian Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon. He retired in 1960 from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. he was a son of the late
Oliver and Rose Tarr and had
resided in the Pittsburgh district
the past 20 years.
Mr. Tarr was a retired electrician
at the Monessen Plant of
Wheeling – Pittsburgh Steel
Corp.
He was a member of the Belle
Vernon Lodge 643; Free & Accepted
Order of Masons (F&
AM); and the United Presbyterian
Church when he resided in
Belle Vernon.
He was preceded in death by
his wife; Jeanne Parent Tarr.
Surviving are two daughters;
Mrs. Adele Furey; with whom
he resided in Pittsburgh; and
Mrs. Lorayne Cauffiel; one son;
Charles; four grandchildren; and
two great-grandchildren.
