Valley Hospital. He was 68.
He was born Aug. 23 1909 in
Webster; a son of the late
Michael and Susan Babinec
Uram. Mr. Uram was a veteran of
the U. S. Army; having served
in World War II. He was a
retired driver for Country
Belle Dairy Company. He was
a member of Ihe Fells United
Methodist Church. He is survived by his widow;Luella; two sons; George
Stephen of Denver R D 1; and
Gene Allen at home; and four
brothers; Michael of Pleasant
Hills; Peter of Monessen; John
of Birmingham; Ala. ; and
Andrew of Fellsburg.
Friends will be received in
the James C. Stump Funeral
Home Inc ; Rostraver Twp.
from 7 to 9 p m Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.William D.Morgan and the Rev.Frank B.Garlathy officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Stump Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A former Belle Vernon
woman died Wednesday;Dec.8;1976; as the
result of an automobile accident
a short distance from
her home in Shock; W. Va.
Carol Ann Urbanic; 27; of
Route 1; Shock; was driving
home from the Gilmore
County Medical Center at
Glenville; W. Va.; where she
was employed as office
supervisor; at 8:30 p.m. when
her vehicle skidded on the ice
and went into a ravine.
Mrs. Urbanic was born in
Pittsburgh on Dec. 11; 1948
and was raised in Belle
Vernon. She was graduated
from Belle Vernon Area High
School in 1966.
She had attended California
State College and was
graduated from the University
of Vermont as a
psychology and theology
major.
She lived in West Virginia
the past four years; moving
there from Burlington; Vt.
Surviving are her husband;
Timothy L. Urbanic; two sons;
Christopher and Elijah; both
at home; her mother; Mrs.
Sue Mazzei Touche of Belle
Vernon; her father; Alex Touche of Florida;one brother;Francis J.Touche of Baltimore;Md.;and her maternal grandmother;Mrs.Mary Mazzei of Belle Vernon R.D.1. Thomas A.Underwood;81;of 218 Robert St.;Belle Vernon;died suddenly Tuesday;December 31;1968;at 5:22 p.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Born in Roscoe;he had lived in Monessen 45 years. Mr.Underwood was a resident of his present address the past seven years. He retired in 1950 from the Monessen Page Division of American Chain and Cable Co. At one time Mr.Underwood was a semi-professional football player and was known as Heavy Underwood. He was a life member of Free and Accepted Masons No.638;Monessen;and was a life member of Monessen Volunteer Fire Co. He attended Trinity Episcopal Church;Monessen. Surviving are his widow;Polly Williams Underwood;two daughters;Mrs.James (Nancy) Hathaway of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Charles (Jean) Zemany of California;Pa.;a son;Thomas A.of Forrest Hills;Pittsburgh;seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
