He was born Oct 18; 1905 in
Martins Ferry; Ohio; a son of
the late William and Mary
Jane Davies Williams.
Mr. Williams was a lifelong
resident of the Belle Vernon
community and was a
member of the First Christian
Church Belle Vernon.
He retired in 1970 as a
craneman for the Electrical
department of Wheeling
Pittsburgh Steel Corp’s
Allenport Plant.
Mr. Williams was past fire
chief and life member of the
North Belle Vernon Volunteer
Fire Department. He was a
member of the fire department for the past 50 years.
He also was a member of the
Southwestern Pennsylvania
Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs
Association and the Westmoreland County Firemens
Association.
Survivors include his
widow; Nellie Dudgeon
Williams; one daughter ;Mrs
John R (Sally) Stark of Belle
Vernon; one grandson; John
S.Stark and one great-grandson
Jason Stark; both of Belle
Vernon.
A sister; Mrs. Mamie
DeiCas; preceded him in
death.

Born in Fayette City;Sept.30;1904;he was the son of the late William H.and Myrtle Campbell Weightman. Mr.Weightman attended the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church;Rostraver Twp. He was a member for 51 years and the past master of the Gummert Lodge Number 252 F & AM of Fayette City. He also served as secretary of the lodge for 15 years. He was a retired employee of the Lincoln Homes Corp.;Elizabeth;and was a resident of Rostraver Twp.for the past 19 years. 30 years.
Mrs. Wagner had worked
for 10 years as a school
crossing guard for Belle
Vernon Area School District
until illness forced her to give
up the position three years
ago.
She was a member of the
First Presbyterian Church of
Belle Vernon and the Dames
of Malta. She was also a
member and past matron of
the Belle Vernon Order of
Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband;
William C. Wagner; one son;
William C. Wagner of
Delmont; one daughter; Mrs.
Walter (Diane) Dyky of
Westminster Md ; and three
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by
his wife Katherine Welsh; in
1970; and by a son; James B.
Welsh Jr in 1974.
