Fred Axton;age 38;died Friday afternoon;April 11;1930;at 2 o’clock in the Monessen-Charleroi hospital following an illness of several weeks. He is survived by his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Lewis Axton;two brothers;John at home and Charles of Clarksburg;W.Va.;four sisters;Mrs.Edward Layton of belle Vernon;Mrs.George Miles of Pittsburgh;Mrs.John Cherback of Monongahela and Miss Irene at home. The deceased was employed for a number of years and up until his illness as carpenter foreman on the P.&L.E.railroad. He was a member of the Belgium club and also of the F.O.Eagles of Charleroi. Funeral services will be held from the late home at 107 Water street;Belle Vernon;Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Services will be in charge of Rev.Speer of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Funeral services will be held from the late home Monday afternoon;April 14;1930;at 2 o’clock with Rev.Rodkey;pastor of the M.E.Church in charge of the services. Interment will be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
