Helen H.Radock;80;of Ann Arbor;Mich.;died Friday;April 27;2001;in the Glacier Hills Nursing Center;Ann Arbor. A daughter of the late John R.M.and Georgie Quay Hower;she was born Jan.9;1921;in Erie. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor;and the Kappa Delta sorority. She chaired the University of Michigan Museum of Art Membership Committee. She also has been active in the Ann Arbor Women’s City Club;the Book and Thimble Club;the Farm and Garden Club;the Women’s Investment Club;the Ann Arbor Thrift Club;Friends of the U-M Hospital and the Ann Arbor Tennis Club;and served on the advisory committees of the Hands on Museum;the University Musical Society;University Hospital and the School of Music. Mrs.Radick traveled extensively throughout the world and had previously lived in Bradford;Pa.;New Wilmington;Pa.;Kent;Ohio;and Pasadena;Calif. A graduate of the School of Music of Westminster College in 1943;she taught in the Girard Pa.Public Schools and was on the University Library Staff at Kent State University. She has been active as a faculty wife at Westminster College;Kent State University;the University of Wyoming;the University of Michigan and the University of Southern California. Survivors include her husband;Michael Radock; a Belle Vernon native who she married Sept.2;1944. Other survivors include William and Isabelle Radock of Cincinnati;Ohio;and Robert Radock and two grandsons;Brian and Scotty Radock;all of Orlando;Fla. Friends will be received in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME;INC.;a Golden Rule member firm;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon on Monday;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
