in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;
Friday; April 18; 1952; at 1 p. m.;
after a brief illness.
She was a member of the Presbyterian
Church of Belle Vernon; the
American Legion Auxiliary to Post
659; the Belle Vernon Fire Department
Auxiliary; and the Ladies Auxiliary
of the Belle Vernon L.O.O.M.
She is survived by her husband;
John (Jack) Brooks; two sons; Maurice
and Thomas of Belle Vernon; her
parents; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jackson of Belle Vernon;one brother;Jack;serving with the United States Army in Japan;and three sisters;May McGarrity of Midland;Pa.;Gertrude Fleming and Laura Fleming of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at
the Toner Funeral Home. Services
will be held there Tuesday; April
22; 1952; at 2 p. m.; in charge of
Rev. George L. Kress; and interment
will follow in the Belle Vernon
Cemetery. Harold R. Toner is

He was born in Roux;Belgium;May 9;1879;and came to Charleroi in 1889 from Duquesne. He was a member of St.Jerome’s Church;and has been living retired. He is survived by one son;Herman of Charleroi;a daughter;Mrs.Joseph Schoener;Charleroi;R.D.1;and one sister;Mrs.Valerie Defosse;Charleroi.
