Angelo Constantine died Saturday;June 18 at Cleveland;Ohio;at the age of 74 years. Death was due to complications of age. Surviving are the following children;Mrs.Charles Faro;of Cleveland;Lester Constantine;of Cleveland;and Mrs.John Paterra;of Monessen. There are also four grandchildren. The body has been brought to Monessen and taken to the home of the daughter;Mrs.Paterra;404 Chestnut street;where brief services will be held Tuesday morning;June 21 at 9 o’clock with additional rites to follow at the St.Cajetan Church;with Father Paonesa officiating. Interment will be made in the Belle Vernon cemetery.

Adam Cole;aged 84 years;died on Saturday morning;March 5;1938;at his home at 200 Henry street. He was a retired carpenter and well-known in this vicinity. He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Julia Cole;and one son;Warren;of Belle Vernon. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon;March 7;1938;at 2 o’clock from the home of his son;on Broad avenue;in charge of Rev.G.Meade Daugherty of the M.E.Church. Burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Mrs.Susan Currie;pioneer resident;died at 4:55 Tuesday morning;December 28;1937;at her home;174 Schoonmaker avenue;of complications due to the infirmities of age. She came to Monessen with members of her family in 1899. Born in Ireland;Mrs.Currie went to Scotland;as a child;and in 1882;came to America;locating in Niles;Ohio. She was a member of St.Leonard’s R.C.Church and the Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association. Surviving are four children;Mrs.John J.Stevenson of Monessen;Mrs.Weiland Michaels of New Castle;Miss Anna Currie of Monessen and John H.Currie of Farrell. Her husband;Robert Currie;and two children;Mrs. Alex Currie and James J.Currie;preceded her in death. Funeral services are announced for Friday morning;December 31;1937;from the St.Leonard’s Church;with Father Owen J.Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon;December 27;1937;at 2:30 for Charles Cooper;six year old son of Mr.and Mrs.;John Cooper of Ridge Road;Belle Vernon;who died a few hours after being admitted to the Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh;followed by injuries sustained when he was caught in an elevator shaft in Kaufman’s Department Store in Pittsburgh on December 24;while going to visit Santa. The body was prepared at the Melenyzer-Toner Funeral Home for burial. Surviving the deceased are his parents;Mr.and Mrs.John Cooper;three sisters;Kathryn;Rose and Gail;and one brother;Jack;all at home. Charles was a student of the first grade of LaGrange school;and a member of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Sunday School. Services were held from the late home on Ridge Road;and were in charge of Rev.S.Gaffney;pastor of the Rehoboth Church. Interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Jesse J.Cramer;aged 44 years;died in the U.S.Veterans Hospital at Aspinwall;Pittsburgh;Wednesday evening;Oct.13;1937;at 10:45 o’clock;after an illness of five years. He was born Aug.2;1893;and had been a resident of Belle Vernon since 1924;residing at 123 State street. He was foreman in the Carnegie Steel Company plant;and was a member of Belle Vernon Legion Post No.659. He had served as a private in Company H.167th Infantry of the 42nd Division. He sailed for France;September 23;1918. Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Ronda Cramer;and twin sons;Joseph and James;12 years of age;his mother;Mrs.Eliza Cramer;of Elizabeth;Pa.;three sisters;Mrs.William Ludwick and Mrs.Bert Yates;of Elizabeth and Mrs.Clarence Kessler of Baltimore;Md.;and three brothers;Albert of Wilson;William and Charles;of Elizabeth. The body will be taken to his late home;128 State street;until Sunday morning;when it will be taken to the Toner Funeral Home;where military funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Services will be in charge of Rev.Sydney Gaffney of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church;with interment to be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
