Fred J.Emelo;58;of 211 Second street;Vestaburg;died in the Brownsville General Hospital;Monday;August 11;1952;at 5 p.m. Mr.Emelo was born in Roscoe;February 12;1894;the son of Charles and Frances Metzner Emelo;and was the last surviving of eight children. He was a member of the Community Church;Vestaburg;and the United Mine Workers of America;Local 762;Vestaburg. He is survived by his wife;Ruth Hunter Emelo;one son;Thomas of Fayette City;R.D.1;a daughter;Mrs.Lenhart Kollar;North Charleroi;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Thursday;August 14;1952;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Alfred M.Deemer;pastor of the Fayette City Methodist Church and Rev.William Howard Ryall of the Central Presbyterian Church;Brownsville. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.

Mrs.Mary Ercegovich;age 45;died at her home in Arnold City on Monday;at 11:45 p.m.after a short illness. She is survived by her husband;Joseph;three daughters;Mrs.Mary Yusko of Arnold City;Julia and Rose;both at home;two sons;Anthony and Joseph Jr.;both at home;two brothers;Mike and Steve Tylosky;both of Pricedale and three grandchildren.
