She is survived by one son;Frank Jones of Allenport;one sister;Mrs.Robert Pancoast of Elizabeth;five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home. Sgt.Orlo Junk;29;husband of Mrs.Thelma Morgan Junk;264 Linden avenue;Monessen;was killed in action in Germany;Sunday;February 4;1945;a week after he arrived overseas;according to a telegram from the War Department. Sergeant Junk;a son of Mr.and Mrs.H.C.Junk;429 Knox avenue;would have celebrated his thirtieth birthday on February 20 and would have completed two years in service in May had he lived. According to reports;he wrote a letter on January 28;stating that he arrived overseas and was in Belgium. The letter arrived here February 10. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and prior to entering the service was employed at the by-products plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Company. Besides his wife and parents;he is survived by the following brothers and sisters;Sgt.Joseph;in the Air Corps at Hunter Field;Ga.;John;of Monessen;Harry;Richard;Beverly Ann and Betty at home. Services will be held tomorrow afternoon;Friday;Dec.19;1947;for Sgt.Orlo Junk;of Monessen;killed in the Battle of the Bulge;Feb.4;1945. The body arrived in Charleroi yesterday and was taken to the home of his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Harry C.Junk;316 Chestnut St.;Monessen.
