He was employed by the American Window Glass Company in Belle Vernon. Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Alberta Kuhn;two daughters;Mrs.Freda Lutes and Miss Florence Kuhn;both at home;two brothers;Charles and John of Belle Vernon;and three sisters;Mrs.Albert Evans;Mrs.Anna Kunn;and Mrs.Christina Huttenhour;all of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received in the Toner Funeral Home until Wednesday afternoon;Sept.15;1948;at 2:30 o’clock;when funeral services will be held in charge of Rev.George Guest;pastor of the Marion Presbyterian Church of Fairhope. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is funeral director.

Raymond J.Koffler;23 years;210 Indiana aveune;died in Mercy hospital;Pittsburgh;Sunday evening;September 22;1947;from injuries sustained when his automobile crashed with a hit and run motorist on the Clifton-Library road. Surviving are his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Andrew Koffler of Castle Shannon;his wife of four months;Irene M.Jones Koffler;a brother;Joseph of near Butler;four sisters;Anne Marie;Norma;Edna and Doris of Castle Shannon. Friends will be received at the home of his parents-in-law;Mr.and Mrs.M.Q.Jones;616 Division street;until Wednesday evening 7 p.m.when the body will be taken to the home of his grandmother;Mrs.Minnie Koffler;Corner Road;Bethel Township. Friends will be received there until Friday at which time services will be held at St.Anne’s Church n Castle Shannon;the Rev.Angel officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
