Mr.J.F.Leonard (Learnard)passed away at his home in Chester;W.Va.;after a lingering illness of several months. For a number of years Mr.Leonard was a resident of this city coming here from Michigan;later moving to Belle Vernon and after the death of Mrs.Leonard purchased a farm in West Virginia. While here he was employed at the Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was aged 66 years and 11 months. He was a very patient sufferer and all that loving hands could do was done to relieve his suffering. The following children survive:Hiram;Ed and Ernest Leonard;Mrs.John Zollars;all of Monessen;and Mrs.Lynn Cook and Mrs.William Whyte of Chester;W.Va. Funeral services will be held at the home of his son;Hiram Leonard;302 Ontario street;2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon;Oct.9;1923. Burial in Belle Vernon.
