Mrs.Georgetta Ostrander;age 67 years;of Grandview;Donora;died suddenly while visiting her nephew;George Woods of Maple Creek;Friday;July 12;1946;at 6:30 a.m. She was born in Speers;October 1;1878;and had been a resident of Donora for forty-six years. She is survived by three sons;Park;Hiram and Vernon of Grandview;two daughters;Mrs.Irene McGiffin of Knox;Mrs.Ruth Ferguson of Toledo;Ohio;one brother;Albert Woods of Charleroi;eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Lawson Funeral Home in Donora. Services will be held in the Latter Day Saints church in North Charleroi;Monday;July 15;1946;at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Richard Lawson is the funeral director.

Tony Oliverio;aged 48 years;of Main street;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;January 23;1941;at the U.S.Veterans’ Hospital in Aspinwall. He had been ill about two weeks. He was a bricklayer by trade. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Theresa Oliverio;and the following children: Mark of State College;Nicholas of Waynesburg;Joseph;Rudolph;Paul;Theodore;Phillip;Thomas;Ida May and Joan;at home. The deceased was a corporal in Battalion E;321 Field Artillery;82nd Division;and engaged in the battles of St.Mihiel and the Argonne. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home;Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;until Monday morning at 10 o’clock;when services will be conducted by Rev.Gregory Paonessa;pastor of the Mother of Sorrows Church in Charleroi.
