Woodrow Prentice;10 year old son of Mr.and Mrs.James Prentice of Webster;died Monday morning;May 9;1927;at 4:30 o’clock in the Memorial hospital of Monongahela of a fracture of the skull he sustained some time Saturday night when he fell out of a window while walking in his sleep. The youth secured premission to visit his brother;James Prentice;Jr.;who resides on the Keenan farm near New Eagle and spent Saturday on the farm. He retired with other members of the family about 10 o’clock Saturday night;but when his brother entered his room at an early hour Sunday morning he was surprised to find the bed empty. Going to an open window he heard the boy moaning and on further investigation found him clad only in his night garments;lying in a cellarway directly beneath the window. It is stated the youth was subject to sleepwalking and it is believed during the night he arouse and while in the semi-conscious state went to the open window and tumbled out falling to the ground below. A physician was called and the victim rushed to the Memorial hospital.
