Margaret P. Hogg; 90; of Belle Vernon; died Thursday; June 9; 2005. A daughter of the late Fritz and Celia Ferrari; she was born in Charleroi on June 15; 1914. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas; the Belle Vernon American Legion Auxiliary; Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary; Annita Garibaldi Society and the Franciscan Third Order. Mrs. Hogg had resided most of her life in Belle Vernon. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Darla and Eugene R. Quinn of Beaver and Margie and Richard Verch of Billings; Mo.; one sister; Philomena DeFranks of Scottdale; and two brothers; Albert Ferrari of Fredericktown and Ubert Ferrari of Clarksville. Mrs. O’Toole had been a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Monessen and had belonged to the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Monessen. After 25 years of working for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Monessen as a secretary in the personnel department; she retired and moved to Midlothian; Va.; to be with her two sons and daughters-in-law; Dennis and Deborah O’Toole and Terry and Nancy O’Toole. Charles H. Armentrout; 89; of Salt Springs; Fla.; formerly of the Mon Valley; died Monday; May 16; 2005. He was born Jan. 7; 1916 in Mineral County; W.Va.; the son of the late Baxter and May Green Armentrout. He was an employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant; having started in 1934 as a craneman. Mr. Armentrout had held various positions and was an electrician in the No. 2 Hot Mill at his retirement in 1977. He is survived by his daughter; Gerry Tillman of Florida; his son; Charles Bucky Armentrout of Rostraver Township; five grandchildren; Edward Magruda; Kristina Boyd; Joelene Christman and Michael and John Armentrout; and five great-grandchildren.
