Dorothy A. Holan ; 85; died 3:08am February 2nd at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles. Dorothy was born March 18 ; 1927 in Franklin Township PA the daughter of Carl and Molly Fuller Koslosky. She was a 1945 graduate of Ellsworth High School in PA. and worked for 7 years as a cashier at Montgomery Wards before retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Liberty Township. Her husband Paul Holan; whom she married November 15; 1946 died January 1;1974. She will be deeply missed by her sister Nancy Cartino and her husband Ralph of Niles; two brothers Robert Koslosky and his wife Louise of Mantua and Kenneth Koslosky of Ravenna; three grandchildren Abby and Ashley Holan; Seth Holan and his wife Kelly; three great grandchildren Bella; Brooklyn and Peyton and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a son Paul E. Holan and five brothers William; Carl; Donald; Edward; and Richard Koslosky. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. funeral service at the Church of Jesus Christ in Liberty Township. Officiating will be elders Ralph Cartino; Andre Francione and Wayne Martorana. Burial will be in Belle Vernon PA Cemetery. Leona Marie Glick; 83; of Rostraver Township; died Wednesday; June 12; 2013; following a lengthy illness. She was born Aug. 17; 1929; in Pricedale; a daughter of Martin Metro Moskwa and Anna (Fekula) Moskwa. Her parents built and operated the Clover Farm Store in Pricedale; which was a community fixture during the productive years of the Somer No. 4 coal mine. She graduated from Rostraver High School in 1947 and attended Waynesburg University. She married Morley Glick; July 11; 1949; who survives. Mrs. Glick primarily considered herself a mother and homemaker; although she was also a business owner for more than two decades; and provided seasonal help to the McShane Florist and Greenhouse; owned and operated by her Rostraver High School classmate; Jack McShane. She was an avid cook and her kitchen was a frequent meeting place for family; neighbors and a group of close friends from school. Besides her parents; she was preceded in death by a son-in-law; Alan Huey; and two sisters; Helen Moskwa and Emily Geeza. Besides her husband; she is survived by two sons; Leonard M. Glick and wife; Cathy; of Groves; Texas; and Mark B. Glick and wife; Hitomi; of Honolulu; Hawaii; a daughter; Natalie A. Huey; of Madison; and numerous grandchildren.
