Obituary

Shirley M. Viviani, 94, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026 in Mon Valley Care Center. She was born on May 16, 1931 in North Charleroi.

A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Shirley had been employed as a seamstress at multiple former sewing factories in the Mon Valley.

She is survived by a nephew, Daniel (Carol) Lubrani of Cooksville, MD, a niece, Nancy Bartolotta of Monongahela; and great nieces and a nephew, Alisa (Jeff) Meyers of Hanover, PA, Danna Kauffman of Annapolis, MD, and David Lubrani of Cooksville, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Viviani on February 4, 2006.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 10:30 A.M. to 12 noon in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
