Obituary
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc. 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed on Friday April 24,2026 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Fr. Michael Thomas officiating. Burial will take place at the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the Giannini family request that memorial contributions in Randy’s name be made to CORE, being that Randy was a transplant recipient.

Randal P “Randy” Giannini, 66, of Belle Vernon, passed away on April 17, 2026 in Jefferson Hospital.
He was born on April 29, 1959, a son of the late Angelo “Sonny” and Genevieve Dzimiera Giannini
Randy was Catholic by faith and a member of St Sebastian Parish. Randy was a 1978 graduate of Belle Vernon High School. He was a proud member of the Leopard’s WPIAL Championship Basketball team. Randy kept in touch with all of his former teammates, and shared a special bond with them. Randy was an avid Basketball fan, and many referred to him as a “Historian “ of local teams. He still played Basketball on a regular basis with friends. Randy had retired from his family business “Giannini’s Distributing” of Monessen.
Randy was a member of numerous area Clubs. His outgoing personality and infectious smile lit up anyplace he entered
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister in law- Laurie Ross Giannini.
Surviving are his brothers- Mark and wife Rita Giannini of Kentucky and Paul Giannini of Belle Vernon. Nephew Chad and wife Danielle Giannini of Kentucky. Great niece and great nephew- Gianna Giannini and Mark Robert Giannini. Several cousins, special friends Vickie and Vernie, and countless friends.
