James E. Brosick, 77, of Stockdale, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Greenery Specialty Care Center, Canonsburg. Born June 19, 1948, in Crescent Heights, Pa., he was the son of the late James and Caroline Kwapian Brosick. A resident of Stockdale for the past several years, Mr. Brosick was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon. James retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen plant, where he worked as a chemical processor. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army, a member of the Phantom Cruizes Car Club and the Roscoe American Legion Post 801. He is survived by his loving partner, Joanne Rygelski of Stockdale; brother and sister-in-law, Lesli and Doris Brosick; sister, Darlene Pearce; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Louis Brosick. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724929-6183. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at Parzynski Funeral Home and Cremations LLC, with the Rev. Michael Thomas of St. Sebastian R.C. Church officiating.
