Earl A. Blevins;25;of 145 Johnston Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Jan.2;1972;at 9:09 a.m. in St.Francis Hospital;Pittsburgh. Mr.Blevins;who lived with his wife and parents at 145 Johnston Ave.;North Belle Vernon;was born on May 12;1946 and was a graduate of Bellmar High School;Class of 1964. He attended Ohio State University;while a member of the ROTC. While at Ohio State he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and had received presidential awards for honor grades at Ohio State. He was a member of the NROTC until Feb.14;1971;when he was released from active duty while serving on the aircraft carrier;Coral Sea. Surviving are his bride of two months;Karen Ray Blevins;his parents;Earl V.and Mafalda Pro Blevins;who lived at the same address;two brothers;Robert and James;both at home;one sister;Karen;at home and paternal grandmother;Mrs.Florence Blevins of Monessen. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday at the Rhome Funeral Home;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;where services will be held Tuesday;Jan.4;1972;at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
