William George Kunca, 81, of Belle Vernon, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Jefferson Hospital. A son of the late Michael and Kathryn Hanas Kunca, he was born April 14, 1942 in Washington. Formerly of Monessen, William has resided in Belle Vernon for the past 55 years where he was a member and an elder of the First Presbyterian Church in Belle Vernon. He was also a member of the Belle Vernon Lions Club and F & A.M. Tri County Lodge 252. William was a sales engineer for Sil-Base Company in McKeesport, retiring in 2021. He was a United States Army Veteran, he loved his grandkids and his pets, golfing every Friday, and has collected Lionel trains since he was 12 years old. He is survived by his wife of 55 years and the love of his life, Eileen Benny Kunca, a son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Angela Kunca of Venetia, a daughter, Dawn Kunca-Kapolka of Belle Vernon; five grandchildren, Ryan, Derek and Olivia Kunca and Kate and Luke Kapolka.
