Obituary

Angelo Suppa,Sr.,73 of 409 Main St.,Belle Vernon,died at his home Saturday,Oct.29,1960,at 10 a.m. He was born in Naples,Italy,Sept.22,1887,and came to Belle Vernon in 1907 from his birthplace. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. He retired eight years ago from the Monessen-Southwestern Railroad. Preceded in death,May 18,1936,by his wife,Josephine Suppa,he is survived by seven sons,Sam,Joseph,Frank of Belle Vernon,John,Charleroi,Nick,California State,James,Monessen,Angelo,Jr.,Belle Vernon,three daughters,Mrs.James (Louise) George,Charleroi,Mrs.Mary Panarella and Mrs.John (Catherine) Moravec,Belle Vernon,twenty-two grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be sung Wednesday,Nov.2,1960,at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian Church,Belle Vernon,by Rev.Andrew King. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is the funeral director.
