Zell Burleigh,aged 70 years,622 McMahon avenue,died Sunday evening,November 29,1953,at 11:25 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen hospital. A resident of Monessen for the past 40 years,the deceased had been employed at the local Pittsburgh Steel Co. plant for the same period.He was a member of the Wayman A.M.E. Church,and a member of the steward board there. Surviving are his wife;a daughter,Mrs. Beatrice Macer;two sons,Clarence of Monessen and Capt. Elmer Burleigh,stationed at Westover Air Force Base,Mass.;a sister,Mrs. Carrie Chapman of Carnegie;three brothers,Earm of Carnegie,James of Detroit,and Clyde,of Pittsburgh';a grandchild;and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Carter Funeral Home,beginning Monday evening at 7 o'clock. Funeral home visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
