Mrs. Zella Britton of
Fairhope; Belle Vernon died Wednesday;Dec. 15;1982; in Mon Valley
Hospital. Carroll Twp.; after
a short illness. She was 62.
Born in Washington Twp.;
Fayette County; Feb. 23;1920;she was a daughter of the late
George and Myrtle Welch Deneen.
She was a member of
Marion Presbyterian Church
in Fairhope. Mrs. Britton is survived by
her husband; Edward Britton: two sons; Capt. Edward
Britton with the U.S. Air Force in Madrid; Spain; and James Brilton of Lynnwood; Belle Vernon; a daughter;Mrs. Marcinus (Terri) Crampo of Charleroi: one brother; Paul Deneen of Belle Vernon;four sisters. Mrs. John (Grace) Petricek of Bentleyville; Mrs. Jacob
(Eva Mae) Merrill of Santa Clara; Calif.. Mrs. James (Cartha) Cavanaugh of Fairbanks; Alaska; and Mrs. Ben (Yvonne) Brancolini of Clairton; and four grandchildren;Erin and Lesley Britton and Mark and Jody Crampo. In addition lo her parents; Mrs. Bntlon was preceded in death by a brother; Zane Deneen. Friends will be received Tuesday evening at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City from 7 to 9 p m.;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m.; and Saturday until 3 p.m. the time of services at the funeral home. The Rev.Mary Howard;pastor of Marion Presbyterian Church will officiate at Saturday’s services. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
